Courtney and Danielle here. We arrived in Fiji last night. We were greeted by frogs, lizards, and bugs. Today, we were stunned when we got to see Fiji in the light. The landscapes are breathtaking and the locals are super friendly as they smile and say bula (which means hello) as we pass them in the streets of Sigatoka. Later today, we will be completing a scavenger hunt in the village. Some of the tasks include, learning a Fijian phrase, buying 2 “sulus”, send a postcard, visit a Hindu Temple, and buy toilet paper. We will also go to the market to stock up on food as we will cook our next 8 meals. It’s really hot here. We are really excited to swim in the ocean later. Hopefully we won’t be eaten by a shark or bitten by a different deadly creature. Alright, we’ll keep you guys posted about our future adventures. BYE!
