Angkor Wat

Since leaving the Dharma Center we went far South and a little east and ended up in a little town called Ayutthaya. It was really hot. We rented bikes for the day and rode around to all the old temples. After an exhausting day we went to the hostel expecting to sleep but unfortunately for us they played live music downstairs until 12. The next morning we had to catch a 5 am train to Bangkok. Bangkok’s big, reaaaaalllll big. When we got to Bangkok we went and checked out the red light district and the streets with all the black market products. It was real interesting. After Bangkok we crossed the border into Cambodia and stayed in Siem Reap. We went to the War museum and had a guide who had his arm blown off when he was a child soldier. After the war museum we went to watch the sunset at Angkor Wat. The next day we went to Angkor Wat bright and early to try and catch the sunrise, it was too cloudy. Angkor Wat is too breathtaking. Words cant even explain it so I’ll have to upload some photos.
