Hey everyone! We’ve been working with the Mirror Foundation for the past five days to build a school for stateless children. It was hard manual work, our bodies hurt and our hands were full of blisters, but it was worth it. We made a lot of progress and had so much fun. Everyone was so welcoming. We arrived at the school for a quick introduction and met the workers but the children quickly took over to play with us. After the fun, we met our Thai family that welcomed us with tasty food. Our days of work were from 8 am to 3 pm learning how to build and using concrete with an amazing breakfast and lunch at the work site (see in the video). We also celebrated Peter’s birthday and had fun activities such as going to river to cool down and enjoying the garden built by the previous king o Thailand. The work week passed by quickly and soon it was time for us to leave. We had a big barbecue/karaoke party with a goodbye ceremony where the elders of the village tied strings around our wrist to give us best wishes. Thank you Mirror Foundation for this amazing experience! Until next blog.
