Greetings from Basecamp Portland!

Sawasdee Krap from Portlandia! We here at our stateside Headquarters are filling our pre-SEASIA days with copious amounts of coffee, daily yoga routines, lots of delicious pie and more workshops on how to make this an overwhelming success for all of us than there are noodle shops in Vietnam. WE ARE SO EXCITED!!

As we become increasingly familiar with our upcoming itinerary and begin reaching out to our first week connections, everything is becoming more real. Soon we will all be together meeting face to face, in San Francisco…Don't you love those butterflies??

We hope all of you are taking time in these final days leading to departure for yourselves, time to reflect on who you are prior to this transformation coming. We encourage you to spend quality moments with your family, and closest friends. Be present with where you are, and give thanks to those who are enabling you to participate in this rite-of-passage.

Right now we are out on our co-leader scavenger hunt! It has been filled with conversation, pie, burritos, doughnuts, music playin' and smiles 🙂 We are very excited to be bringing guitars with us on this trip to fill our days together with sweet music. Does anyone wanna bring a tambourine??? Today we have also been learning tons about each other. Did you know that Audrey attended a Japanese immersion school for 10 years and used to belly dance in college? Did you know that Greg loves to snowboard and can balance 20 books on his head while doing the splits? We are excited to learn more about all of you too!

We have also been experiencing some crazy new things here in Portland such as; banana cream pie (new for Audrey), buying miso soup in a tea shop, and teashops with cats sitting at the table.

The excitement is building each day. We are so excited to meet you all and start our journey!

Let's do this!
Love
