G’day Mates!!

We’ve arrived in Sydney, Australia safe ‘n sound! This city is absolutely incredible as we got to explore it all day on our scavengar hunt. We visited the Memorial museum in Hyde Park and the Opera House, learning about the history each one and roamed around the Royal Botanical Gardens where the trees and plants are so strange and beautiful it’s as if they came straight out of a Dr. Suess book. Dinner that night was quite frantic at the hot pocket restaurant where we cooked our Chinese food in SUPER SPICY HOT broth. We were all tearing, chugging water, wiping our runny noses, and kissing cold zucchini slices  to cool off our burning lips. We rewarded ourselves with some delicious gelato in the playground and then did some possum searching in the park. Our last day in Sydney was spent at Manly Beach surfing some Australian waves, exploring the town, eating Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, and barbecuing by the water where we were entertained by these amazing black swans and jumping lizards. It’s crazy to think that we’re down to our last country on this amazing trip, so we’re making every day count here and embracing each moment.
Next stop is Alice Springs and our adventures in the Outback! Wish us luck!!
Love,
Becky and Liv
