Hi everyone! We are in Antigua doing a scavenger hunt around the town. Running around town, being sophisticated travelers, speaking fluently with ease, and having no troubles at all! LOL, actually, to be completely honest, we are having a wonderful time. Working our best to speak the language and communicate (some of us better than others), being smart, and trying to find some local authentic food that wont make us regret it later.
So far our time at the Earth Lodge has been wonderful. The beds and rooms are amazing (the girls at least) and the view is breathtaking. We still all wake up and cant believe that we can see an active volcano erupt from time to time in the distance! (Dont worry, we are taking lots of pictures!)
We are loving our time in Antigua, enjoying a real taste of the culture, and cant wait to see more of the area. Next week comes homestays, and our very first week at our Spanish Language School! Woo hoo! So excited to really immerse ourselves, and improve on our speaking.
Our leaders, Jess and Mac are really cool. They are very knowledgeable and we are excited to see what they have in store for us. We miss you all at home. But this is just the beginning. We cant wait to see what this life can hold for us. As a wise man once said, this is just the doorstep to eternity.
