Bula, ni sa bula! (Good Afternoon)

Hey guys, it’s Jill and Grant! We don’t have much time to write a lengthy, detailed post just yet, but we do have time to give you a brief run-down on our adventure so far!

After arriving at our Tubakula beach bungalos the other day, we were promptly greeted by the beautiful culture and atmosphere of Fiji. Immediately, everyone fell in love with the sights, sounds, smells, and overall feels of Fiji. Basically, we all want to do and see everything!

Right now, we are on a mission! Robbie and Katelyn, our OEs (Overseas Educators) gave us a list of things to find in the wonderful city of Sigatoka.  After navigating the public transportation system on our own, we had to write a blog post! Glad we can check something off. Next, we will be finding the post office and mailing postcards home to our family, finding and haggling for various items at the outdoor market, locating the rugby stadium, exploring a Hindu temple (Fiji is 38% Hindu), and other various tasks involving Fijian culture.

We were also supposed to attach a photo to our post, but we can’t seem to figure out how to do that!

Tonight, we will be having a bonfire on the beach.

More to come when we have more time! – Jill and Grant
