Follow the Journey

Greetings from the Shiva (pronounced like she-va, not like “sitting shiva” as I first thought) Group of India! We are absolutely loving it here in Delhi at the Tibetan colony, Majnu-Ka-Tilla, where we are staying. We have had so much fun playing with the local children, finding a litter of puppies (that will potentially be sent to my home in Kansas — sorry Mom), and exploring the great city of Delhi. Yesterday was spent exploring New Delhi, which was a hectic but rewarding experience. We ended the night by going to a Bollywood movie called ‘Khoobsurat”, which was about a common girl falling in love with a prince. There were no subtitles, but the story line was basic enough that we could all follow. Plus, the movie theatre was air conditioned and had reclining seats :). We head to McLeod Ganj next, then we start our trek.
