Dear avid blog followers,
We’ve finally made it to our last day in Cuzco! The past few weeks have been incredible. From the jungle, to the Yoga retreat in Sacred Valley, to the Salkantay trek, and finally to Machu Picchu. During the 5 day trek, we hiked over 38 miles from 21,000 ft glaciers to bug ridden jungle and finally to Machu Picchu. Even though Machu Picchu was teeming with thousands of people, it was still no less than spectacular.
We all came on this trip for different reasons. For many of us, it was a last minute decision or in light of something else that fell through. For whatever the reason, we all came to South America seeking other states, other lives, and other souls. In some way or another, I believe we all found what we were looking for, and even what we were not looking for.
Now many of us are staying to travel and venture to other South American countries with friends and family. Safe travels everyone! It’s been an epic past three months.
