Hi this is Cole! Finally I’ve found my way to an internet cafe, the only issue is if i can find my way back… this is our third full day in Chiang Mai, i think? It has been hard keeping track when my head is buried in bowls of food. To the annoyance of my group I’ve been waking up around six in the morning, which never would have been possible in my own house. The allure of the street markets and the personal time have made it a attainable feat however. We have been keeping busy, whether it is a new game that seems impossible for me to grasp or visiting a Wat, i have been trying my best to grab every moment. My Thai is minimal but it is enough for me to frequently pick up interesting looking snacks from the stalls lining the streets. This place is both complex and simple and everyday I am enveloped in new and strange things.
