Location: The city of Baños, Tungurahua, Ecuador
Activities: Canyoneering and saying goodbye

Hello friends and family, and welcome to the first of several time traveller’s logs! We will be experiencing the past lives of us Carpe Students, but don’t worry, our presence won’t interfere with the space time continuum.

First thing we do today is go to an adventure clinic, where we suit up for our upcoming adventure’s!

We will be rapelling down four waterfalls today, so it is important to be prepared.

As we approach the waterfalls, you begin to feel a little nervous as what we are about to do sinks in.

Finally it’s time to descend the first waterfall. Some of us are excited.

Others are apprehensious.

At the end we let go and drop down the last few feet!

After more travelling, we are finally at the fourth waterfall! You don’t know what you’re in for as you approach the edge, and the guide tells you to turn around. It’s a good 150 meter drop to the bottom and you nervously do as he says. He counts down “Tres… Dos… Uno!” and you scream as you fall.

From Carpe

Well folks! Our time machine’s tachyon cells are all empty, so we need to return to the future before we get stranded in the past. See you next time!
End Log.
