We have been in India for six days and have seen several beautiful things and have met so many interesting locals. What makes India different than any other country is their bountiful kindness. As we walk the hectic city of Delhi, people come up to us and offer us assistance and tell us their stories.
There are billions of people in this country and each one carries a unique story, making us realize that we are no different from them.
We met a man named Sam, who was especially eager to share. He taught us three of the 33 million gods and goddesses in Hinduism and gave us insight on how Indians view American tourists. Alec and Garrett followed his advice and bought authentic Chacha dresses and pajamas. Isadora and I tried on Indian Saris, but we’re still on the lookout for the perfect print. We are excited to see what the next few months entail, starting with Jaipur!
