We came. We saw. We experienced. Not many people can say they traveled across India for three months with total strangers but we did it. We explored the culture, we met people from all over the world, and we opened up our heart
s and minds to everything and everyone around us. Some of us are more ready to take on what we have planned for our future; some of us are ready to change our plan completely. We are all coming home with a little piece of this journey in our hearts that we will cherish forever. If you ask each of us about our experience we might have different things to say, such as:
“It was a breath of fresh air. It was breathing in a new culture and experience that I have never seen before. It was a time to focus on myself and get away from the expectations of school.” -Kelly Tobin
“India is like Baghsu cake: hard at the base with many layers but perfectly sweet.” -Katie Delaney
“There is no prethought, there is no after thought, there just is.” -Paige Buchanan
“My life fell apart in the most beautiful way and now I get to put it back together exactly how I want.” -Emily Radek
“India challenged me in the exact ways I needed to help me become the person I’m meant to be.” -Charlotte Clarke
Overall I think we can all agree that it was crazy, it was chaotic, and it was absolutely wonderful. Thanks for everything India.
