I don’t want to leave this city, forgive me. Baños, Baños. The place I live like being at home, the city I promise to visit every year, the homeland of people I love.
Wake up every morning in Lorena’s house, take in the fresh air by a deep breath, and then have delicious breakfast prepared by Lorena’s mother. We have Spanish class every morning. Every teacher is super patient and friendly. After yummy lunch (and maybe a power nap), some of us teach local children English, some of us help children with disabilities. Both are hard jobs. But we finished it successfully. At night, fun time. Exploring hot pool near waterfall, having a soccer game with locals, or playing Dutch Blitz with family. Baños, a city with endless fun.
I don’t want to leave, but I am ready for new adventures. Thank you to Juan’s family. Thank you to Lorena’s family. I will miss you guys so so much.
Goodbye, Baños.
