It’s trip prep time here at Carpe Diem!
After a few days spent camping and bonding outside the city, nestled among the trees enjoying the crisp Autumn air, we are back in the glorious city of Portland!
Today we got the chance to have some urban adventures together and continue to get to know each other and learn how totally cool we each are. Ashley grew up in the suburbs outside this city but had never ridden the MAX until today! Kevin felt moved to do some impromptu dance at Pioneer Courthouse square (video to be revealed at a later date, don’t you worry) and then we both basked in the glory of Powell’s City of Books.
We can safely say at this time that our Central America semester is going to be… awesome!
We hope the rest of our extended Quetzal group is getting stoked for an incredible adventure!
