My Carpe Diem experience shaped everything, from my major in Sustainability, Ecology, and Policy to my passion for environmental justice, hands-on learning, and a life rooted in connection
with nature and culture.

Carpe Diem and especially my time at Pono Grown, deepened my connection to the land, inspiring me to pursue sustainability through gardening and join the "great turning" by prioritizing the Earth in both study and daily life.
