We finished our week in Aegina and traveled back by ferry to Athens to start our last week of the program. We traveled to ReGreen and started off our week with a tour of the permaculture farm, hike up the mountain and daily drumming lessons with Nikos. We have eaten homemade meals by our fantastic chef Bjon which included curry, lentil soup, and pasta with tomato sauce.

What were three of the top highlights this week?:

Our top highlights of the week were taking our 5 hour hike up the mountain, while ending with a rainbow at the top. Another highlight has been our daily drumming lessons with Nikos, learning rhythms and how to play together. Finally, our last highlight was playing board games and music together in the common area! A popular game among the group has been wingspan.

What is something you or the group is challenged by this week?:

This week our group has been challenged by feeling exhausted and ready to go home. Although we have been powering through it by spending time together and making the best out of our last week together.

🌎 What are you most grateful for this week?:

Next week, we travel back to Athens to conclude our time together. Most of us are looking forward to spending time in the city for the last time, such as going to our favorite restaurants, buying souvenir, and doing some last minute shopping. This week we are grateful for spending time on such a beautiful farm and getting to spend quality time together while learning how to apply permaculture principles to our everyday lives.

We walked to the water source of the village and saw the beautiful waterfall.
