Follow the Journey

Hi Everyone!
We’ve been here just over a week now, so hard to believe. Feels like we’ve been here so much longer then that already, we’ve done so much moving around. We landed late in Dar es Salaam after a long delay in Amsterdam. The next day we drove to Morogoro to start orientation. We started with a scavenger hunt in the city, where we actually tried to do our first blog post but apparently there were technical difficulties. We spent the next few days getting more and more comfortable in the city and i think by the time we left for Iringa we were all feeling much better. Our bus ride to Iringa was a rough but everyone made it in one piece. The roads are just a bit bumpier here.. we know to sit towards the front for next time. We have been taking Kiswahili now for several days and everyone is improving quite a bit. I know I am feeling much more confident talking to locals. Everyone is still getting to know each other but so far we all getting along great, lots of laughs. We miss you all, more updates to come.
